Hello dear community, I need your help: I would like to replace my current Qnap NAS with the Synology DS1621xs+ and equip it with Samsung PM893 SSDs. The price/performance ratio for the 8TB variant is excellent at the moment and I don't need TBWs quite as hefty as the Ironwolf or WD Reds of this world for my use. But I'm not 100% sure. To clarify: I'm talking about the 2.5' configuration and not the cache. What do you say? Thank you very much in advance. :)

Hello everyone. I have switched from Swisscom to Sunrise and since then I have a problem with the NAS - for example, I can no longer run the Synology Drive Client or the TimeMachine Backup (from iMac to Synology). If I deactivate the firewall, it runs. What do I have to adjust in the firewall to make it run smoothly again? I only have an internal network, no access from outside. Thank you!

Good evening. My Synology DS218j has a hard disk temperature of about 35 degrees (cooling mode) without much load. The fan is also relatively loud. Does anyone know a better and quieter fan? Or are the temperatures normal, I have heard different opinions (up to 45 degrees everything is ok). Thanks
