Hello together
I am looking for a new laptop for my father that is sufficient for the usual office applications (Outlook, Word, etc.).
A numeric keypad, a backlit keyboard and a decent battery life would be desirable.
What would be recommended in terms of price/performance?
Many thanks for your help!
Unfortunately, this key does not work at all for unlocking or setting a new password. The very first time I press the "Key" button, the colours don't match and I can't enter anything. I would like to send it back and then look for something else.
Kind regards Claudia S.

Hello, could you please help me?
I am starting my studies in September and have a budget of between 800 and 1000 CHF to buy a new computer. I will use it for ARGIS, Matlab and similar software, among other things. Can you recommend a good computer in this price range?
Thank you very much
Ajay Hinduja Geneva, Switzerland (Swiss) - Dell Notebook Issue – Need Advice on Sudden Freezing
Hi everyone,
I’m Ajay Hinduja Geneva, Switzerland (Swiss) and using a Dell notebook and recently it’s been freezing randomly during normal use. It doesn’t seem to be overheating or running heavy programs. I’ve updated drivers and Windows, but the problem continues. Has anyone experienced this or found a fix? I’d really appreciate any advice before taking it in for repairs. Thanks in advance!
Regards
Ajay Hinduja Geneva, Switzerland (Swiss)
Perplexity gives me the following information:
HP 594796-001 2800 mAh 6 Li-Polymer original battery6
Accuswiss FL04/FL06 2800 mAh 6 Li-Polymer High-quality replica12
Powery replacement battery 2800 mAh 6 Li-Polymer quality cells
Does Digitec have replacement batteries like this? Couldn't find them under the terms.
I bought the notebook in the Digitec shop about 10 years ago
There used to be a keyboard filter, but it seems to have been removed - any chance of bringing that back? It was very useful for those wanting EN/ISO keyboards.
Dear Digitec team, please have a look at the laptops at https://frame.work. It would be great if you could offer them in Switzerland, maybe even participate. The concept deserves attention.
Dear Digitec team
Xiaomi has just launched new notebooks on the market. They are technically convincing and have a very good value for money. It would be exciting if you could offer them too:

We need at least an HP Pro x360 435 G10 (13.3", R5, 16GB, 512GB SSD incl. pen) for teaching. However, as our daughter will be attending an art school beforehand, the device should probably be a bit more powerful. Teams, World Office 365 and Adobe must work. If she is going to enjoy image editing or drawing on the device, it would be great if it had enough power for that. Can you recommend an HP device that has enough power? Thank you very much
Hello dear Community
What do we need to look out for when buying a notebook/laptop for our son? He will soon be starting his apprenticeship and needs it for school and, of course, at home. Do you have any tips on certain brands and types? The price level should not be over CHF 1,000.00.
Thank you very much for your help
How do I filter for a laptop with keyboard in French-speaking Switzerland?
Hello,
Could someone tell me how to search or filter for a laptop with a keyboard in French-speaking Switzerland? When I put in Swiss keyboard, it only shows me Swiss German keyboards...
Thanks in advance
Heyho.
I'm currently looking for a suitable ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 18 laptop bag or backpack. Could someone recommend or suggest one to me, I don't want to just buy one that is too small or too big.
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
I'm looking for a keyboard for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 11", 128 GB, Graphites, but I seem to find DE keyboards on Digitec, do you have any recommendations?
Thank you!
Hi All, can someone please help me clarify if the English international keyboard layout has QWERTY?. I am referring to this product page:

THanks a lot

I've been a satisfied Mac user for a long time and don't want to change that. However, I would still like to play some games from time to time. Especially older games that don't require the latest and most expensive setup. I've been flirting with a mini PC with an AMD chip and an iGPU for a while now. When I look at it, I'm looking at around 800 to 1100 francs with good components, sufficient connectivity etc.. However, I've seen that low-budget gaming notebooks (some with an RTX 4050 or 4060 graphics card) are also available on sale at this price.
What would you recommend? Would it be better to go for a corresponding notebook offer or buy a mini PC? Mobility is not a killer criterion for me, as I don't have to game on the go and I would still like to install Linux on the PC/notebook, as I like to "tinker around" a bit and find Windows rather exhausting except for gaming.
I am looking for powerful laptops for our school for the elective subjects. The laptops will be used for image processing, video editing, 3D programming, game design and sound design. What would be the minimum requirements if the laptops are to keep up for 4-5-6 years? It must be a Windows laptop with a screen diagonal of at least 15". The weight does not matter, as the devices are only transported within the school building. The cost should not exceed 1800 (2000) francs.
Working memory?
Dedicated graphics card?
Processor? Which one?
Connections? (HDMI, USB-A, USB-C and headphones) what else?
Storage space is irrelevant as it goes to the cloud
No loud ventilation
Power consumption irrelevant
Battery life irrelevant
Thanks in advance for your swarm knowledge.
Hello Community
I am looking for a replacement for my HP Omni All in One, which is about 12 years old and keeps reaching its limits. In addition, it is not possible to upgrade to Windows 11. For this reason, it is time for a new device.
The Omni has the following specifications:
Device name Omni27
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770S CPU @ 3.10GHz 3.10 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Edition Windows 10 Home
I'm flirting with a CSL Venom Box. The question is whether it has to be the Venom high-end box or whether a cheaper box would also be an option?
I would like to have Windows 11 Pro as my operating system. Also at least 2000 GB SSD (but preferably 4000 GB).
CSL Mini-PC CSL VenomBox 8845HS
AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS, 96 GB, 4000 GB, SSD, Radeon 780M
CHF 1259.-

I need the PC for multitasking work such as editing high-resolution photos / scans in GIMP, producing a video in Win Movie Maker, listening to music via Bluetooth and moving large amounts of data in between.
I would be happy to receive input from the Community.

Hello everyone
One of our employees occasionally edits videos for our company blog.
He currently has an HP-Omen which is now entering its lifecycle.
Our company (newly) only uses Lenovo devices, which is why I would like to get a Lenovo to match the rest of the environment.
He uses Adobe Premiere Pro 23 software.
As I'm not familiar with the load on the video software, I wanted to ask the Community what you would recommend.
My predecessor recommended the following device: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/lenovo-tsthinkpad-p16s-g3-ultra-64gb-10-16-64-gb-1000-gb-de-notebook-46385207
However, this notebook doesn't have a special graphics card installed, so I'm a little unsure whether this investment could be better.
Do you know your way around? is a better graphics card necessary? do any of you perhaps even have a Lenovo notebook that is also suitable for editing videos?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
Hello Community
I treated myself to this laptop on sale and would like to switch to a full setup with this notebook at home in the future.
I am therefore looking for a suitable docking station. But I'm a bit overwhelmed as to what I need to pay attention to and what data the docking station should have.
The laptop is charged with a conventional power supply unit. As far as I know, you can charge it with a docking station and Thunderbolt 4!
I will attach:
2 2k screens
keyboard
camera
mouse
headset
Many thanks for your support.
Hello together
My Mifcom Savage (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/mifcom-savage-rtx2080ti-ryzen-3950x-ultimate-amd-ryzen-9-3950x-32-gb-2000-gb-ssd-geforce-rtx-2080-ti-12323635) has the problem that it can no longer boot or cannot find the boot device.
Previously, after successfully booting Windows, I was able to work normally for about half an hour and then a blue screen (WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR) appeared.
After removing the RAM sticks I had added about 2 years ago, the problem seemed to be solved. However, something seemed to be wrong with the graphics card when booting according to the BIOS beep (1x long, 2x short). In addition, the boot device was occasionally no longer found. Occasionally, but usually after about a day of waiting, it was suddenly able to boot into Windows again.
I have already tried various things:
- all possible RAM stick constellations (taking into account the channels, i.e. Slot 1&3 or 2&4) and also with a single stick in Slot 1
- Windows reset: did not work either or was automatically cancelled during the reset and booted back into the BIOS
- Boot device (M2) removed and NVME slot changed
- CMOS battery replaced
- BIOS firmware update
The latter seemed to have worked and the graphics card error (signal tone) no longer occurred, but now it can no longer find the boot device. I have already tried various settings in the BIOS.
Can anyone help me with this? I've already tried Mifcom, but since I ordered from Digitec, they don't provide support.

Hello
I bought a digitec Tharsis T80 PC 10 years ago.
https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/digitec-tharsis-t80-intel-core-i7-4790-16-gb-250-gb-ssd-hdd-pc-2752751
It is getting on in years and I would like to upgrade it. Gaming is not a requirement. I have found a PC at digitec that roughly meets my requirements: (it may be necessary to install a graphics card to improve the graphics properties)
https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/acer-pc-aspire-tc-1785-i7-14700-32gb-1tb-ssd-1tb-hd-intel-core-i7-14700-32-gb-1000-gb-ssd-hdd-uhd-gr-45969999?ip=acer+aspire+tc-1785
I think I would have to replace the mainboard, processor, RAM, possibly the graphics card and the SSD on my old PC. The normal hard drive still has more than enough storage space.
The old mainboard is an Asus H97M-E with mATX form factor.
https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/asus-h97m-e-lga-1150-intel-h97-matx-mainboard-2578906
The old graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti, which would still suffice.
I picked out some different components today and would like to ask whether it could be put together like this:
Mainboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z690-G Gaming WiFi. As I still want to use the old hard drive, I think I need the S-ATA connections. I don't know whether the Blu-Ray disc LW is also connected via S-ATA

Processor: Intel i7-14700KF
https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/intel-core-i7-14700kf-lga-1700-340-ghz-20-core-prozessor-38738120
RAM: Kingston FURY Beast 2x 16GB DDR5
https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/kingston-fury-beast-2-x-16gb-6000-mhz-ddr5-ram-dimm-ram-18014221
Graphics: Asus Dual GeForce RTX 3050 OC
https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/asus-dual-geforce-rtx-3050-oc-6-gb-grafikkarte-42688849
SSD: Samsung 870 EVO 1000 GB
https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/samsung-870-evo-1000-gb-25-ssd-14598791
Would be glad if someone could judge this.
Many thanks in advance
I'm looking for a notebook that has the left and right mouse buttons on the touchpad for clicking. Ideally HP brand, although I'm open to something different depending on the brand/model/price. All notebooks used to have this, but now the buttons have been banned on (almost) all of them. As I said, it is important that there really are two physical buttons (like on a mouse). Do you know how I can filter/search for such notebooks? I can't find anything in the filter options and really don't see any more. In most cases, the prices of such individual notebooks are still prohibitive (e.g. HP ZBook Fury 16 G10 for >CHF 3000.-)
Hello,
I'm looking for a top-of-the-range Barebone-style Mini-PC with an i9-13900H 32GB RAM and the possibility of installing an RTX4000 Mobile, and I've found the minisforum MS-01 Work Station:
Test presentation in German on youtube:

It looks like a really promising computer, when you take a closer look at the specifications... and especially the scalability.
Question: can Digitec distribute this product in Switzerland?
Thank you for your reply.

Hello zeme
I'm starting my training as a mediamatician the month after next and am still looking for a suitable work device.
My employer gives me articles for a work device if we use BYOD, so I'd rather buy a device that I can use afterwards.
So now the question is, if I have a PC at home with an RTX 4090 and an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, would you still recommend a Macbook or are there comparable PCs that would last just as long as a Macbook Pro and have the same performance as this https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/apple-macbook-pro-late-2023-14-m3-pro-36-gb-1000-gb-ch-notebook-39973308?
Hello Community
I would like to buy an HP Z2 G9 Mini. Due to the different models, I have made a product comparison in the hope of finding a model that meets my requirements.
Unfortunately, after the product comparison I am more irritated than smarter. For example:
https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/hp-z2-g9-mini-intel-core-i7-13700-16-gb-512-gb-ssd-t400-pc-32952784 - Preis CHF 1'162
https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/hp-z2-g9-mini-intel-core-i7-13700-16-gb-512-gb-ssd-t400-pc-37109139 - Preis CHF 1'545
When I compare CPU, SSD, RAM and GPU, I don't recognise any differences. But I wonder how the price difference of CHF 400 comes about.
Do you have similar problems when comparing products that you don't recognise the differences at first glance?
Many thanks in advance for any tips on how I can find my way around better.
Best regards
Jemez
