Refurbished notebook

I see "Good" or "Like New", I assume it is about cosmetics. Does that mean it is absolutely fully functional, with 12 months warranty, and also has a "Good" and "Like New" cosmetics condition? What about battery use, or the reason it had to be refurbished (as opposed to just sold as used)? Thanks!

I don't know what "as new" means for some people, but I understand it to mean without signs of use. That's why the term should be used with caution.

If the refurbished laptop was once used (say) in German language, has the buyer the option to re-set the OS user language to (say) English?
