Which PC would you use to intersect millions of polygons?
Dear all, I am looking for a new PC to do analyses over larger regions. I usually work in R, but Python has been recommended to me several times for large amounts of data (e.g. for 1.5 million polygons from 5 million polygons). The following PCs are on my radar, but I'm not sure what is overkill and which components are most important. Threads, ram, processor (AMD vs Intel), ventilation, graphics card? It's a mix of everything and I'm getting a bit lost trying to find a good balance. I would be very grateful for a recommendation (be it a PC from the following list or any other)!
