USB-C - Power Delivery trigger cable or trigger module with defined output voltage (e.g. 5V/9V/12V/15V/20V)

Hello together Perhaps one of you can help me further I need a USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 trigger cable or module, which, when connected to a powerbank, delivers a defined 12V / 3A. The products are available, but mostly from Shenzhen with a corresponding delivery time USB Type C DC Power Trigger Cable I have found neither a trigger module nor a trigger cable with a supplier from Switzerland or the EU. Unfortunately, a workaround with a 12V/15V Microsoft Surface USB-C charging cable switches from 12V to 15V when the powerbank has a 15V output. Therefore, this way does not work. Does anyone know an example of a USB-C 12V charging cable for a device that is not explicitly labelled as 12V and therefore cannot be found as such? Many thanks for your help Greetings Marc

USB-C cable longer than 5 metres

Hello everyone I would like to connect my Surface Pro9 to an i-tec docking station (i-tec Catriple4kdockpd2ch) with a flat screen (LG OLED48C38LA) and several other devices (Logitec Wireless keyboard and mouse). The docking station is about 5 metres away from the place where I want to work. For this reason, a cable longer than 5 metres would be ideal. I have already tried two long USB-C cables without success: 1. Roline 7m USB 3.2 Gen 2 (https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/roline-11029067-7-m-usb-32-gen-2-usb-kabel-49927309?supplier=406802) 2. Digitus Active USB 3.2 Gen1 5G extension cable, USB-C - USB-C, 10m (https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/digitus-aktives-usb-32-gen1-5g-verlaengerungskabel-usb-c-usb-c-10m-10-m-usb-32-gen-1-usb-kabel-53095019?supplier=406802) Unfortunately, neither of them really work. There is no connection with the Roline and with the Digitus there is a connection, but it is always interrupted and the Surface is not charged via USB-C, even though the docking station would deliver 100 watts. Does anyone have any idea which cable might work for my requirements?

How do I find the USB cable I'm looking for?

Dear Galaxus or Digitec - the search for USB cables in your shop is quite tedious! You could offer a HUGE added value for your platform here if people could search or filter USB cables by BOTH ends, i.e. the connectors (as well as other criteria such as length, colour, etc.). For example, I'm looking for a cable with a USB-C plug at one end and a micro USB at the other. No matter what I search for, I get hundreds, if not thousands of hits. They have all sorts of things, but practically never the two plugs I want. I realise that the topic is not entirely trivial: there are "cable whips" with several different plugs at one end and those with adapters at one or even both ends (e.g. USB-C to USB-A), so that you can "serve" 2 or even more connections. But such cables would then "match" with several filters. But in my opinion, that would still be easier and more effective than endlessly scrolling through 9126 "USB-C" cables...

Filter for differ. Connections A and B

Why is there no filter option in the USB cable category for: Connector A and connector B? As there are in other categories, it would be extremely helpful, not every cable is desired, e.g. USB-A to USB-A. Plug and socket also make a difference. Thanks and regards

    Filter Max. Data transmission rate

At least specialised cables have the "Max. data transfer rate" as a parameter in the product specification. Unfortunately, you cannot search for it in the category "USB cables", which makes it impossible to find, for example, a 120W and 40 Gbit/s cable or if higher USB 4 speeds are required, e.g. 120 Gbit/s. Thunderbolt 5 cannot be found either unless the name is in the product title. According to the USB-IF, these are the two parameters that should determine suitability.

USB cable awg 24/2c 5 meter

I am looking for a USB cable (connector A-B, 2.0 or higher) with a length of at least 5 metres. However, it should also at least correspond to the cable type awg 24/2c. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to place the devices closer to each other due to the spatial conditions.is there such a thing or does anyone have another solution?

USB-C/USB-C charging cable with click system

Hello everyone. My charging cable often slips out of the connector so that it no longer holds. Is there a USB-C/USB-C charging cable with a kind of click system so that it holds better?

Adapter mini USB (male) to usb-c (female)

Hello I have been looking for an adapter for a long time to connect my old devices with USB-C cables, so actually the counterpart of the following, but preferably without an intermediate cable: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/garmin-acc-pass-thru-cable-mini-usb-female-to-type-c-male-fahrzeug-navigation-zubehoer-21344295 I've seen a few offers on Amazon, but I don't like ordering from foreign suppliers. Hence my question: Have I perhaps just not found a corresponding offer here or is there really nothing?

iMac as display for MacBook Pro

I have an iMac (late 2014, 5K 27-inch, macOs Big Sur 11.7.10), which Apple classifies as "obsolete" and therefore no longer updates the operating system. I wanted to connect it to my MacBook Pro so that I could at least continue to use the screen for photo editing. To do this, I bought a Tunderbolt cable and a Thunderbolt - USB 3 adapter. The two devices are now connected in terms of hardware, but I can't synchronise the screens using the command + F2 command. I found on an apple support site that my iMac model is not suitable for this (https://maconline.de/support...). Does anyone know what to do?

    Flexible USB-C cable

I'm looking for a flexible USB-C cable to connect a controller to my PC. So it doesn't need a PD or similar, which is usually the reason why the cables are not very flexible. The cable supplied is quite stiff and therefore often gets in the way. Can you recommend a really soft, flexible USB-A to USB-C cable?

    Transmission speed filter

@digitec, can you please add a filter for transfer speeds, that would make the shopping experience much easier. Unfortunately the USB forum has decided to confuse the consumer, with first USB 3.0, 3.1 & 3.2 , then 3.1gen1, 3.1gen2 & 3.2 and finally USB 3.2gen1, 3.2gen2 &3.2gen2x2... so filtering by standard is useless, because older products had a different naming convention. e.g. if I now want a 10gbps cable, that would be all of the following: USB 3.1, USB 3.1gen2 and USB 3.2gen2. But when I look at the results, there are many 5gbps cables. There needs to be a disclaimer explaining this confusion in the context menu of the standard selection, because almost nobody is aware of it. TLDR: Filtering by generation is pointless, there needs to be a speed filter!

Short USB-C to USB-A for iPhone 15 and Apple Carplay

Is there a short (max. 0.5m) USB-C to USB-A cable for my iPhone 15 that should work with Apple Carplay in my car (VW Tiguan 2018)? I read that not all cables are supposed to work and unfortunately a noname cable that I already had at home does not work. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Connection of a USB-C cable to USB-a

Hello everyone, I have received a cable from the Google Pixel Watch 2 with a charging dock with 4 pins at one end and a USB-C plug (m) at the other end. Is there an adapter, cable or other part to convert this USB-C plug into a USB-A? Reason: my currently used charging station has 6 USB-A ports (f). Accordingly, the part, cable or adapter would have to have USB-C as a socket and USB-A as a plug. This would allow me to charge the watch without having to buy a new power supply. Many thanks for any information.

Highly flexible USB-C cable for docking station

I use my laptop at home on the docking station via a USB-C cable. (Lenovo USB-C Dock Gen2). The cable that comes with it is stiff as a board and when you plug it into the laptop, there is a definite vertical force on the plug because the cable is so sh***y stiff. I would like to replace it, but of course you can't sort the cables by flexibility. Hence the question: which cable is very flexible and has 10GBit/s? I would prefer a silicone cable. The braided cables, well, I don't know, dirt gets into the fabric sheathing over time, doesn't it?

USB-C cables with video - DP alt filter

Hello! I would like to easily find USB-C cables (both sides) to replace faulting one from our docking stations/monitors. It is not really possible to use any filter that would confirm this. What is even worse, brands are not really eager to show this... I bought few cables already, even some Baseus 100w blabla compatible and it support only charging but no video signal ~17 CHF. On the other side: s-conn for ~8 CHF and works great with data, video, charge. Would be great to have option/filter to search video compatible usb-c < - > usb-c cables. Do you have some brands or products to recommend me in this matter?

    PowerDelivery 3.1 compatible USB-C cable

I am looking for a USB-C cable with PowerDelivery 3.1 compatibility and 140 or 180W charging power. I can't find any filters for charging technology (PowerDelivery 1, 2, 3, 3.1 etc. QuickCharge 1, 2, 3, etc.) or power (18, 45, 60, 100, 140, 180, 240W). These are filters that would make it much easier to find the right cable.

    USB-C plugs wear out

Hello together I have the problem that the USB-C plug on the cable side has worn out after about a year of use. As a result, a small movement of the cable causes the plug to lose contact and the charging process stops. A second small movement on the plug is then enough for the plug to fall out of the socket. I mainly use Aukey cables, but I also had this problem with the original cable from my LG smartphone. New cables, on the other hand, are quite secure in the socket. Is this a known issue or is it just me who has such problems? Does anyone know a solution for repairing such plugs? Crimp them again? Or are worn plugs a warranty issue? Merci for tips and opinions. Greetings
