Power consumption 48 W? My Synology 2 bay NAS needs less, even with 2x 8 TB WD Red. I assume that's about max...?
The specification refers to the maximum power output of the power supply unit. The enclosure probably needs significantly less power (at least when idle). However, I have not measured it now.
