Could this network card be used to connect to Salt's Fiber Box, and thus benefit from the 10 GB/s offered by the internet provider?

Absolutely yes, as long as you have a cat 6e, 6a or 7 ethernet cable between the Fiber Box and your network card. Also be careful about any network equipment that might be present between the Fiber Box and your card.

Theoretically, yes there is no reason why this should not be the case. In reality, I could give a "real" answer on Tuesday when my line is activated
