Question about Kensington Locking Station 2.0

It is advertised that it supports laptops up to 15.6", but what is the effective width in millimetres that is still supported? 15.6" is a bit fuzzy, because laptop manufacturers usually only mean the screen, so there can still be quite a bit of housing on top...
