Yes, very good for gaming. But I would take the Ryzen 5 1600. But if you're concerned about every franc, it's quite good.

the 1600 is slower than the 1500X in most games due to the lower base clock, only a few titles benefit from more than 4 cores, but if you want to overclock the CPU anyway, the 1600/1700 would certainly be the better choice.
