In the last few days there have been more and more reports of Elite straps breaking. What does the warranty cover? Will it be replaced if it breaks during normal use? That scares me a bit and I'm thinking of cancelling the order and ordering later in case there really is a problem with the material.
Mine went faulty after 10 months, I use the VR headset about once a week, telephone call with Digitec was unclear whether this would be replaced, however, after I recorded my order as a warranty case, a credit note was immediately issued and I was able to order a replacement.
My first strap broke after 5 weeks, the second one now after 2 months. I'm taking it to Wohlen this weekend. On the phone they said they would ask about a replacement product from another manufacturer or I could get a credit note. But to be honest, I don't want to use the stock strap.... How many times will Digitec give a replacement for a product line that has a material defect? .... Facebook doesn't seem to have got a grip on it in the last 7 months....
The first deliveries should be made this week. Would be glad if someone could shed some light on this, as there are more and more reports.
