Regarding the S2718D monitor, if I order 2xS2718D how will it be connected, 2x USB-C cable each directly from the notebook to the monitor or to 1 monitor and then to the other monitor?

The monitor has a USB C and an HDMI connection. You can use these to connect the monitors to the PC. You have to pay attention to what connections your PC has so that it fits.
