Good price but has connectivity issues
I had high hopes for the PS5 Pulse Elite, especially given its solid price point and promising specs. Unfortunately, it falls short in a few key areas - especially for serious gamers.
The biggest issue is wireless reliability. Even while using the official Bluetooth dongle, the headset frequently disconnects mid-game. This isn’t a one-off problem — others are reporting the same issue https://www.reddit.com/r.... Reconnecting the dongle temporarily fixes it, but that’s not something you want to deal with in the middle of an intense match.
Comfort is ok. The mic mute button is awkwardly placed and hard to reach quickly. That said, the mic quality is solid, and the headset delivers impressive 3D audio, making game environments feel immersive and alive.
Still, the need for a dongle to connect to the PS5 feels outdated in 2025 :D and combined with the constant disconnects, it makes the headset feel unfinished.
So, good price, great 3D sound, decent mic — but with connectivity issues, it’s hard to recommend to anyone who games for more than an hour at a time. Not made for real gamers.
