Very good buy. Knew what was coming.
As good as expensive. Brilliant, draws beautifully. Runs the risk of capturing skin in too much detail. Results in MONSTER!.

Good lens, although fiddly
If you're looking for good image quality and great bokeh then look no further. This **AMAZING** piece of glass from Zeiss is want you want for portraits. Period. No discussion.
Yes, you can get more expensive lenses but this is, in my opinion, all you need.
Beware that focusing can be fiddly as the focus ring seems to have a life of its own sometimes (you really need to learn how to manipulate the focus ring) and, although cool, the OLED screen on the lens is draining battery.Pro

Superlative quality lens, equally at home in stills and video.
Great transitions from sharp to blurred, even without being at f/1.8.
3 settings for the LCD display of distance and depth of field.
