OK so I bought this to use Windows Hello and log in. It works flawlessly. If you own a Surface Pro, you'll know what I mean. Wake your PC, let it see your face, and you're logged in.
Whilst I did realise this is a gaming tool, and can be used to gaze around in games (Which in PvP games is sometimes a hinderance) I didn't realise that this controller also has a few other perks.... mainly which was...
THE ABILITY TO ALT+TAB AND LOOK AT THE APP YOU WANT TO OPEN. Think about this for a second. I run a high-end PC, with many, many apps open at once, and Alt-tabbing through all of them is a right pain in the backside. With this controller you can literally hit Alt+Tab and just gaze at the app you want to open and let go.... this is single-handedly the best feature of this device.
Oh, and not to forget, every now and then I seem to get messages that there's a free game to download... (Last one was Asassins Creed: Origins! - Nice!)
Sure, it's not necessary. But it works, and it works well.

I use it for logging into Windows and for the American, rep. Euro Truck Simulator. Because I only have one monitor, I need the part to look left and right. Works reliably in different lighting conditions. However, I don't use the eye tracking, only the head movement. It can be finely adjusted in the simulators. Needs some training and readjustment.
The magnetic attachment below the monitor is practical (quickly removed and reattached), but with a low monitor and a steering wheel, the seat position must be high enough for the head to be in the tracker's free field of vision.
A quick test with eye tracking shows amazing accuracy and very quickly. But I don't use it for this kind of game and can therefore only judge it to a limited extent.

I am thrilled with the accuracy. The function in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and x4 Foundation are just great. A list of all supported games and the usage functions is available directly from the manufacturer.

However, the mounting on a curved screen is almost not feasible, because it is supposed to live from the front to the lower edge of the screen.
I'm using a screen with 3840 x 1080 resolution, and the view detection only covers about 3/4 of the screen. tobii does not recognise the first 15 cm of the screen edge.
