The Panasonic GH5s camera has been used by me as a filmmaker for a few months now, replacing the previous model GH4 for productions.
I find the camera absolutely brilliant: absolutely unbeatable in terms of form factor, features, image quality and price. The reason I bought it was the ability to record 4K in 60 FPS & in 10 bit internally - absolutely stunning, no other camera in this (price) segment offers that. The Dual-Native-ISO sensor is superb, especially in low light, as in film projects at concerts and other events. The image noise is only really visible from the higher ISO values. Together with the V-Log curve, the dynamic range of the sensor is very good; a big step forward, especially compared to the GH4.
In contrast to Sony cameras, Panasonic's menu navigation is simple and clear, all settings can be found quickly. The camera is very handy and is therefore very suitable for "run & gun" projects, where low weight and a pleasant form factor are a great advantage.
The double SD card slot is also very useful. Especially for longer events, you are very happy to have two SD cards in the camera to double the storage space. The batteries are the same as on the GH4, with an extremely long runtime. All-day events can usually be managed with 1-2 batteries.
I am a big fan of the camera and can recommend it without reservation.
Two comments:
- To be able to record 4K/10bit/60p at the highest bit rates, high-end SDXC with a write speed of 150 megabyte/s + are needed, otherwise it won't work. Conventional SD cards do not do the camera justice. However, the data volumes are also correspondingly larger due to the quality, which is why I often work with around 150 Mbit; the more common SDXC cards with around 95Mb/s are perfectly adequate for this.

Super film camera - incredibly good image quality and excellent workmanship. Doesn't have IBIS ... But for professional filming you always need a gimble anyway. I switched from the GH4 to the GH5s. For this reason I am sufficiently equipped with lenses in terms of stabilisation (GH4 also had no IBIS) and do not need IBIS.
Other features Timcode, audio section, image quality and ISO, 240Fps time-lapse, V-Log bring me useful additional functions as a filmer.
For stills, I would recommend the GH5.
