    Ideal travel lens. It covers a very wide focal length range with just one lens. I take great photos with it on my D800. I can only recommend the lens for FX cameras (for DX cameras the 18-200mm would be a more suitable choice).
    Slight     vignetting and chromatic aberrations can occur at certain focal lengths, but they are not a problem and can be easily removed with Photoshop.

    I was not satisfied with the lens. It has very strong chromatic aberrations and the sharpness is not very good. From 50mm, the aperture is only 5.6.
    It is also big and heavy.
    For a DX camera you are much better off with     the 18-200, especially as this lens is smaller, lighter and sharper.
    Maybe I just had a bad one. In any case, I sold mine again.

    I find this lens very good together with the D600. Add to that the Nikon 14-24 and you are covered over the whole range.
