The new top graphics card for a longer time. It can easily keep up with a 780 ti graphics card and only cost half as much. The power consumption has also been optimised very well. Also nice are the programmes supplied by the manufacturer, such as Afterburner, if you know about overclocking, or the gaming app, which is very easy to use.
For games, it easily manages an HDMI resolution at maximum settings. There are a few exceptions with 4k, but a drop from 60 to around 40 FPS is still nothing bad for me.
If you need more power after a while, you can always buy a second one later and connect it via SLI, which is also very possible with the low power consumption.Pro

My first graphics card for my own PC. So far I am more than satisfied with this card. I waited more than 1 month for it and was lucky to get one of the few available at Digitec. I don't regret waiting a second.
First the negative:
- Delivery time: Digitec can't help that. The manufacturer or Nvidia itself is to blame. I don't include this in the rating. But it must be mentioned.
Tip for all new buyers: The delivery details of all dealers (digitec and others too) do not really correspond to the truth. The card is available if it is marked as such. So don't get your hopes up too high.
The good thing about the card:
- Performance: All current games (Far Cry 4, AC: Unity etc.) can be played on maximum settings without further problems.
- Fans: in Windows mode they don't even start up, while gaming they usually stay below 50% rotational power. That's why they are actually silent. Heat generation is also very low. Top!
- Looks very good
- I can't judge the whining, because the fans hardly ever rotate properly.
- Unbeatable price/performance
Extra: Digitec is the only Swiss retailer with the "Choose your way" bundle promotion. For a new purchase of selected GTX 970/980 cards, you get a game for free (The Crew, Far Cry 4 or AC: Unity). You get the code 10 days after purchase or so. Top!
I can't agree with the previous speaker about the length of the card. It is not above average in size. The length is specified and if you find out beforehand which cards fit into the PC case, you won't have any problems.
For this price, the card gets an unqualified buy recommendation from me. Just pay attention to the availability.Pro
