If you don't mind putting in the SSD and RAM yourself and installing Windows, you have a great PC without bloatware at a great price and you can install a reasonably sized SSD.
Despite the Thunderbolt 3 hype, the thing also has HDMI, USB-A and jack sockets so that you can connect a screen, keyboard, mouse, headphones ... without an adapter.

This little machine is a beast with 4 cores, 8 threads all fitted in the same a size as an English sandwich with lots of cheese and ham. I installed 16GB of DDR4 and the new Samsung NVMe 500GB SDD and it's impressive. Built it in 10 minutes and installed Windows 10 Pro without any issues. I am using it for a course in Linux and runs two virtual Redhat linux servers without any issues. Amazing piece of equipment. The only problem is the fan noise which is quite high pitched, but you get used to it.

Love NUCs and have several others. This is the second of 6 that had to be replaced straight away. No HDMI output on both occasions.
