Of course, you can't expect miracles for Fr. 60.
The sound quality seems mixed to me. Bass hardly perceptible, does not "kick" but booms annoyingly when turned up on the subwoofer. Mids (1-3 KHz) much too bright.
This can be remedied with an equalizer. Lower the tones between 250-600Hz (-8db) and raise the low basses 60-120 Hz (+10 db). This improves the bass quality considerably, and the booming is only subtly present.
I lowered the mids between 1-3 KHz by -6db, which makes "toxic" mid-tones (e.g. voices) sound more natural. In return, I raised the treble 6-12 KHz by +6db.
With these settings, I have clearly (!) improved the overall impression. Of course, this is always a matter of taste.
The flat rotary volume control on the remote control is a bit fiddly. I have attached a small, self-adhesive rubber stick (from the DIY store). This makes it much easier. I also gave the subwoofer four such (larger) pegs. The original ones are too flat for my stretched carpet, which would have increased the droning.
At the beginning, I had no sound despite the checks. The green LED for mute must light up! At first I thought that if it was on, then Mute was ON. I thought wrong ;-)
All in all, I would give the unit 4 stars considering the price. If you don't want to try out the equaliser (software available in almost every audio chip), then 3 stars.

Most importantly, the sound quality for both music and voice is exceptional. Connecting to the notebook took just a few seconds. I'm very happy with the product, thank you!
