  Installing a Ubuntu distribution on it didn't take much time. Only that the behavior of the touchpad was erratic at times, especially after locking the screen. It turns out the shipped BIOS (1.03) was buggy, so the first thing I would recommend is to flash the BIOS to the latest available version (1.08 at the time I wrote this comment).
