If you have room for a double DIN radio but only use one slot, you can simply buy one as these frames are standardised. The cover for a clean finish is included with the radio.

I installed this radio in my Chrysler 300c and connected it using a can-bus adapter from Pac-Audio. I also ordered the adapter for the steering wheel remote control from Pac and installed it. Everything works perfectly. According to Pac-Audio you need the C2R-VW2 adapter for a 2003 Passat and the RP4-VW11 for the steering wheel remote control. Apparently the Passat 03 has no output for reverse gear, which means that a reversing camera may not be activated automatically? Info at: https://pac-audio.com

it would be nice! mirrorlink is the name of the part or android radio, i wouldn't buy it for that. a disaster! otherwise the part is cool, those interfaces and lots of space for tinkering.

The iPhone must be connected via USB with this model. To date, "wireless" car play only works with very few retrofit car radios.

A bezel must be purchased in any case. And depending on the vehicle, you may also need a steering wheel remote control and/or CanBus adapter.

The SPH-DA120 has a DIN 150 Ohm socket. According to our information, the Opel Corsa D should have a Frakta connection and not an ISO 50 Ohm. Accordingly, you would need an antenna adapter from Frakta to DIN.

Google Maps is installed by default. This only works with a connected smartphone from which it obtains the current data via the Internet. However, you can also use an onboard navigation system.

I recommend NAVFREE GPS LIVE or CoPilotGPS, which I often use. Both only need an internet connection at the beginning to load their maps for offline mode (only at the first start).

If you don't want to use the steering wheel remote control, or don't have one, you can use a cheap adapter for a few francs. Then connect the handbrake signal to ground if you want to test the video without the handbrake applied.
Otherwise just an expensive adapter. I opted for the cheap version...

I tried to install the US firmware on my device. However, the firmware was not recognised by the EU version and the update process could not be started at all.
appmode only needs a normal usb-lightning cable on the RIGHT usb-port of the radio. only one of the two works.
Is this a trick question? This is a universal device, but the installation is different for every car, so either google it or consult a specialist.
mirror-link is dying. the whole thing is a pain in the ass. haven't managed to run anything decent on the da120 yet. the car industry wants to determine what runs on the head-display in the car and that's the root of the problem. i'll give auto a try, but i'm getting a little tired of this crap. otherwise a flawless car radio!
This is possible without any problems. Connect via Bluetooth or USB cable and start the music app.
