Played: "Sea of Stars" is the almost perfect homage to 16-bit RPGs
by Kevin Hofer
Lots of games, the Data Protection Act, a fair phone and pixel density. These topics have kept the editorial team busy this week. And then there was the IFA.
The week after Gamescom continued to be under the gaming star for the tech editorial team. I was almost completely won over by the indie title "Sea of Stars", while Phil was less enthusiastic about the blockbuster "Starfield".
Domi has also travelled to the stars. He has taken a liking to "Fort Solis". However, the new VR shooter "Firewall Ultra" has almost driven him mad.
The first time Patrick's daughter held a controller in her hand. Find out how she fared in his article.
Phil played a game that children can also play. "Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean" looks cuddly, but still offers appealing gameplay.
Flo has been busy with legal texts instead of gaming. He has analysed the new Swiss Data Protection Act. He explains what the new paragraphs are all about.
This week, Samuel has fallen down the rabbit hole and has been looking at pixel density at Apple.
I also spent my time in front of the screen. However, I didn't get lost in pixels, but in the Netflix film adaptation of "One Piece".
Jan, on the other hand, didn't take a series to his chest, but the latest Fairphone. It impresses him more than the previous versions.
Luca, Lorenz, Florian, Jan and Michelle were also at the IFA. You can read all about what they saw there in the overview article on the trade fair.
