Millie Bobby Brown times two, Alison Brie and Samuel L. Jackson share the small screen and the cinema summer is going to be creepy. Trailer Tuesday is your guide to the best trailers of the past week.

«Stranger Things» and «Scary Stories to tell in the Dark» are creepy tales with kids in leading roles. In «Unicorn Store», a woman wants to buy a real unicorn. «Godzilla: King of the Monsters» shows how the monster is hand-tamed. «Once Upon a Time in Hollywood» is Quentin Tarantino’s take on a real story of two ageing Hollywood icons.

Stranger Things, season 3

Steven Spielberg meets Stephen King: Stranger Things has mastered the art of looking like a series produced in the 1980s while including today's special effects. Teenage innocence meets comedy, coming of age and sheer horror.

Release date: 4 July 2019.

Unicorn Store

In Brie Larson's directorial debut, young Kit (Brie Larson) gets a strange invitation from an even stranger salesman (Samuel L. Jackson). His promise: to sell her a real unicorn. This would make Kit's greatest childhood dream come true. Too bad everyone thinks she’s a lunatic.

Release date: 5 April 2019.

Godzilla: King of Monsters

Godzilla has entered the next round. This time around, the King of Monsters will fight iconic opponents such as King Ghidorah, Rodan and possibly Mothra all at once. He seems to have grown longer arms and shows off his most hand-tame side ever. Can this work? And can a movie like that be any good?

Release date in Swiss cinemas: 30 May 2019

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

This is Quentin Tarantino's ninth movie – and said to be his penultimate one before he’ll quit filmmaking. Why this trailer made my list? Because it’s a must see. But don’t ask me what it’s about. And much less what I think of it. According to imdb.com it's about a faded actor (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stunt double (Brad Pitt).

Release date in Swiss cinemas: 15 August 2019.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

Horror grandmaster Guillermo del Toro has adapted the scary children’s book series and turned it into a movie. And let me tell you: he really brings the iconic illustrations to life. The result? Adults will be scared, too.

Release date in Swiss cinemas: expected in August 2019

I'm an outdoorsy guy and enjoy sports that push me to the limit – now that’s what I call comfort zone! But I'm also about curling up in an armchair with books about ugly intrigue and sinister kingkillers. Being an avid cinema-goer, I’ve been known to rave about film scores for hours on end. I’ve always wanted to say: «I am Groot.»
