«Galaxy XCover7 Pro» Enterprise Edition
The «Galaxy XCover7 Pro» is a rugged smartphone. The fully sealed and robust housing protects it from damage caused by water, shocks, dust and vibrations. It is also certified to MIL-STD-810H, a military standard, and IP68. The 6.6-inch FHD+ display is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus+ and is designed to be operated with gloves or in wet conditions.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 works inside, supported by six gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal memory. A microSD card enables expansion. The removable battery with 4,050 mAh supports fast charging with up to 15 watts. The manufacturer does not provide an estimated runtime.
A programmable physical button can be assigned push-to-talk or scanner functions, for example. Interesting for IT managers: The Enterprise Edition promises seven years of operating system and security updates. There are also tools for centralised device management (e.g. Knox Suite).

The «Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro» is a 10.1-inch tablet that is available in three variants:
with Wi-Fi and 128 gigabytes of memory
with 5G and 128 gigabytes
with 5G and 256 gigabytes
All models are based on the same hardware platform and only differ in terms of connectivity and memory configuration.
The tablet is IP68-certified and also fulfils the MIL-STD-810H standard. It is shock, water and dust resistant. The display has a WUXGA resolution and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. You should also be able to operate the tablet with gloves and in wet conditions.
The tablet is powered by the Exynos 1380, an SoC (system-on-a-chip) from Samsung's own production. It is supported by six gigabytes of RAM. The internal memory is 128 or 256 gigabytes depending on the model and can be expanded via microSD. The 10,090 mAh battery is replaceable and supports hot-swap: you can change it during operation without shutting down the device.
Depending on the model, the tablet supports Wi-Fi 6 or 5G. It has POGO pins for integration into vehicle or workplace solutions. The included S Pen is also IP68-certified. A programmable button allows you to quickly access defined functions. As with the smartphone, one year of Knox Suite is also included here, supplemented by up to seven years of security updates.
