Pokémon collector finds valuable printing error

Pokémon Youtuber «SuperDuperDani» has found one of the craziest printing errors ever in a 20-year-old Pokémon Neo Discovery box: every single booster pack contained a holographic card.
In the over 25-year history of Pokémon cards, there have been various printing errors, such as missing text or warped holographic backgrounds. Such oddities are highly popular among collectors and increase the value of a Pokémon card enormously.
A few days ago, Youtuber SuperDuperDani opened a 20-year-old Pokémon Neo Discovery box in a livestream. She discovered that each booster pack contained a rare holographic card. As one display has 36 such booster packs, that’s a total of 36 holo cards. On the collector market, they have a combined value of several thousand dollars.
«I have literally never seen anything like this in my life,» the Youtuber says.
Other collectors have also never heard of such an enormous printing error. «I talked to a bunch of people in the community, and I can’t find a single person who has documented evidence that this has ever happened before,» she said.
In her video, the superfan sums up the moment as «the craziest Pokémon experience.» Although it's still a mystery how so many holographic cards ended up in a single display, «SuperDuberDani» is living the dream of many Pokémon fans right now.
