Pictures of the Logitech G Gaming handheld leaked
A month ago, the Swiss peripheral manufacturer Logitech announced that it would enter the cloud gaming market with its own handheld device. Now the first pictures have surfaced.
Leaker Evan Blass has posted on Twitter the first images of the upcoming Logitech Cloud Gaming handheld. The device will probably run on Android: The images show the Google Play Store, Google Chrome and various cloud gaming apps.
The handheld has a similar form factor to the Nintendo Switch and is black and white. A thumb stick is placed on each side, accompanied by a D-pad on the left and X/Y/A/B buttons on the right. Trigger buttons and a volume control are visible on the top.
Logitech is developing the handheld with Chinese tech company Tencent Games, which is contributing the software. The two companies announced this a month ago. It is expected to hit the market before the end of 2022. Officially announced is compatibility with the Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now platforms. Technical data and price are not yet known.
