On Saturday starts the digitec Playground Vol. 6
In the sixth edition of digitec Playground, the participants will duel in "Age of Empires IV". The first qualifier starts on Saturday at 12:30.
After "Counter-Strike", "Rainbow Six Siege", "Warzone" and "Rocket League", this time the real-time strategy hit "Age of Empires IV" is on the agenda. Instead of shooting or kicking, war elephants will be sent out and catapults fired. With a victory, the participants secure a place in the finals of digitec Playground Vol. 6.
One cup, two tournaments
The digitec Playground consists of two tournaments. One for the pros among you and a Grümpi for all those who join in for fun. The game is 1 vs. 1.
For both tournaments there are two qualifier rounds. In the Pro Tournament a total of four people can qualify for the final and in the Grümpi two. The semifinals in the Pro Tournament will be played in a best-of-one format. The Third Decider and the Grand Final will be played over a maximum of three rounds.
The Qualifiers will take place exclusively online. The final will probably be played locally again.
Schedule and registration
Each player may only participate in one of the two tournaments. The qualifiers for the Grümpi as well as the Pro Tournament will start on Saturday at 12:30 with the check-in. Playing will start at approximately 13:10.
- February 12 at 12:30: 1st Qualifier Pro Tournament
- February 19: 2nd Qualifier Pro Tournament
- February 12: 1st Qualifier Grümpi
- February 19: 2nd Qualifier Grümpi
- 5. March: Final of the Pro- and Plauschtournament.
You can register until the day of the tournament.
Conditions of participation
Participants must either be resident in Switzerland or Liechtenstein or have one of the two nationalities. Minimum age is twelve years, or you must present the written consent of a parent with signature.
Prizes and Community Voting
Together with our partners Razer, Noblechairs and AOC, we will present the winners with prizes worth a total of over 5000 Swiss francs. In addition, there will be a prize for special achievement awarded by the community.
