It's official: Nvidia has introduced the Ti versions of the RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 at the International Information Technology Show Computex.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is based on the GA102 GPU with 10 240 CUDA cores. That’s only 256 cores less than the RTX 3090. The RTX 3090 will remain the top model. However, the RTX 3080 will perform similarly to the 3090 when it comes to gaming.

The memory is also larger: the Ti offers 12 GB of GDDR6X memory with a larger bus, which increases bandwidth. Overall, the RTX 3080 Ti offers 18 percent more cores and 20 percent more memory.

The RTX 3070 Ti boasts GA104 GPU with 6144 CUDA cores. The memory is 8 GB, just like with the RTX 3070. The faster variant features GDDR6X. In terms of performance, the RTX 3070 Ti is said to be 1.5 times faster than an RTX 2070 Super.

The RTX 3080 Ti goes on sale on 3 June and the RTX 3070 on 10 June. Yannick Cejka will inform you about the availability as soon as possible.

Here is an overview of the two cards and a comparison to the non-Ti version.
