With the new Fashion Edition bundles from Pocketbook, you can make a fashion statement with your e-reader.

Reading, technology and fashion don't have to be mutually exclusive. You can now buy the premium Era Colour e-reader from Pocketbook from us as a fashion edition. There are two brand collaborations: with DKNY and Lagerfeld. The editions include the e-reader in a new colour and a cover that reflects the respective fashion brand.

The Era Colour as a fashion edition

The DKNY bundle makes no secret of who is behind it. The New York label's brand lettering adorns the entire front of the case in a chequerboard pattern. To ensure that the logo is not overlooked, it is also attached as a metal application. The frame of the Era Colour is a dark beige, just like the case.

The legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld passed away around six years ago. However, he continues to exist as a brand. On the plain black reader cover of the Lagerfeld bundle, the maestro is pictured together with his famous cat Choupette in chibi style. Both are wearing black sunglasses, Lagerfeld's trademark. The e-reader is framed in a copper-coloured frame.

The covers are made of artificial leather and contain no animal components. Closing the cover puts the e-reader into sleep mode.

7-inch display with 4096 colours

The heart of the Pocketbook Era Color is the colour display with a screen diagonal of seven inches. With Kaleido 3, it utilises the latest generation of E-Ink technology. In black and white mode, text can be displayed in 300 dpi. In colour mode with 4096 colours, the display achieves 150 dpi.

The housing is asymmetrically shaped: The right edge is designed as a grip area. Physical buttons for scrolling are located here. You can also use the touchscreen. The Era Color has integrated speakers that you can use to play audio books. It can also read texts aloud to you using text-to-speech.

The e-reader is IPX8-certified, meaning it is waterproof. The internal memory has a capacity of 32 gigabytes.

By the way: Since the beginning of November, the Era Color has also been compatible with the Libby lending system from Overdrive. This should make it much easier to borrow books and media directly from your library.
