Lenovo is expanding its range of tablets with four new models aimed at different target groups. The Think Tab X11, a business device, features a removable battery.
We now have new devices from Lenovo in stock. Here, I’ll introduce you to four devices that cover a range of uses, from streaming and gaming to productivity and learning.

Lenovo Legion Tab (8.8", 5)
If you enjoy playing mobile games from the Google Play Store, the Legion Tab could be just the thing for you. Thanks to the «Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5» processor, 12 gigabytes of RAM and a high refresh rate of 165 hertz, it runs games such as «Call of Duty Mobile», «PUBG Mobile» and «Genshin Impact» smoothly.
Adequate cooling is provided by the passive «Legion Coldfront» system, which utilises a vapour chamber. When playing whilst plugged in, power is routed directly to the hardware, preventing the battery from constantly charging and discharging. This preserves the battery’s life and also generates less heat.

The LCD screen measures 8.8 inches and has a resolution of 3040 × 1904 pixels. The peak brightness is 600 nits, rising to as much as 800 nits in High-Brightness Mode (HBM). If that’s not enough for you, you can connect an external display: the tablet is equipped with two USB-C ports, one of which supports DisplayPort.
It comes with 256 gigabytes of built-in storage. You can expand the storage to up to two terabytes using a microSD card. The battery has a capacity of 9,000 mAh, making it significantly larger than the 6,550-mAh battery in its predecessor, the Legion Tab (8.8", 3).
The package includes a folio case and a screen protector.
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2
According to Lenovo, this Android tablet is best suited for «smart, focused learning». To this end, the manufacturer relies on AI tools designed to help you organise, visualise and read. The 13-inch display, with a resolution of 3504 × 2190 pixels and a 144 Hertz refresh rate, offers enough space to display mind maps and tables clearly.

The detachable keyboard with a Swiss layout and the Tab Pen stylus are included. This makes the tablet a practical companion for lectures, workshops and training sessions: it allows you to take notes quickly and write by hand.
Smart Reader mode supports 42 document formats. This mode helps you to quickly scan through texts, make comments and save important passages for later. Circle a section of text with the pen to receive further information via AI.
If the 256 gigabytes of internal storage isn’t enough for you, you can expand it to up to two terabytes using a microSD card. The device has 8 gigabytes of RAM. The battery has a capacity of 10,200 mAh and supports fast charging up to 45 watts.
Compared to the first-generation model, Lenovo has now opted for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 instead of the MediaTek processor, a slightly larger display with higher resolution, and a peak brightness of up to 800 nits (HBM) instead of 400 nits. With specifications otherwise largely unchanged, the device weighs 598 grammes, making it around 20 grammes lighter.
Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2
The Tab Plus Gen 2 could be the right choice for you if you intend to use it mainly for streaming. Lenovo is presenting the Android device as a ‘ «’ personal, mobile cinema with cinema-quality sound». The 12.1-inch display delivers a refresh rate of up to 120 hertz and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10.
Sound is provided by the striking JBL speaker system on the back of the tablet. It features a total of nine drivers: four tweeters, three woofers and two passive radiators. Lenovo promises a room-filling sound experience thanks to Dolby Audio. The tablet supports high-resolution audio, including wirelessly. You can also use the tablet as a Bluetooth speaker for other devices.
128 gigabytes of storage and 8 gigabytes of RAM round off the device’s specifications. The two available models differ not only in colour but also in terms of wireless connectivity: the more expensive model is LTE-capable.
A ring-shaped kickstand on the back, which can be rotated up to 360 degrees, allows you to position the tablet at your preferred viewing angle.
You can quickly charge the 10,200 mAh battery using a compatible power adaptor rated at up to 45 watts. In standby mode, the Tab Plus Gen 2 can be used as a digital photo frame with a clock display. To do this, simply connect it to the charging cable and fold out the kickstand. The display then remains active and shows your favourite content. The battery protection ensures that the battery is not damaged in the process.
Lenovo promises operating system updates up to Android 18 and security patches until 2030.
Lenovo ThinkTab X11
The ThinkTab X11 is designed for professional use, for example in warehouses, on building sites and in outdoor environments. Protected by the case supplied, it is certified to MIL-STD-810H and IP68 standards. This means it is protected against drops from heights of up to 1.5 metres, as well as against the ingress of dust and water. The case features a slot for the included «Tab Pen XE».
With a peak brightness of up to 800 nits, you can see the display clearly even in direct sunlight. Thanks to 5G (Data Only), you don’t need to rely on Wi-Fi to use the internet. Furthermore, the tablet offers advanced security and privacy functions and can be integrated into an existing IT Management system.
The display measures 10.95 inches and has a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels. It comes with 256 gigabytes of built-in storage, which you can expand by up to two terabytes using a microSD card. The ThinkTab X11 is equipped with two USB-C ports and a 3.5-millimetre combo jack. In addition to Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, there is an NFC chip built into the front of the device, which can read access keys, for example.
A key feature of this device is its removable battery with a capacity of 10,200 mAh. It can be used continuously, even without the battery, when connected to a recommended charger (at least 36W, Power Delivery 2.0 or higher).
