Mounts and mouse mats: Digitec makes the workplace better
Autumn brings new own-brand products for you if you have an office workstation. With two monitor mounts and mouse mats in different sizes - for more ergonomics.
Good products at a fair price - this also applies to the new wave of Digitec products that are now available. Over the past weeks and months, the team responsible has been working on gadgets that will make your life as an office gadget better. In collaboration and close dialogue with the production partners in China, materials have been evaluated and functionality and durability extensively tested.
Monitor mount for «normal» use
Whether you use one monitor or a setup with two screens - there is a suitable mount for you. The cheaper solution comes with a spring-loaded mechanism. This allows you to move the monitor up or down until it is exactly where you need it. You can also tilt, swivel and rotate the monitor on the mount.
It is mounted with a VESA mount in the size 75 × 75 millimetres or 100 × 100 millimetres. The mount is suitable for monitors with a screen diagonal of up to 32 inches and a weight of up to nine kilograms per monitor. The mount itself is securely attached to the desk top with clamps.
Monitor mount for larger screens
If you use larger monitors and want more comfort, there is also something for this. The stronger mounts can support up to 20 kilograms per arm. The single mount is suitable for monitors up to a diagonal of 49 inches. You can attach two 35-inch screens to the dual mount.
The mounts have gas springs so that moving them doesn't turn into strength training. This allows you to easily adjust the position. Of course, the mounts also allow you to rotate, swivel and tilt the monitor or monitors. There is also a practical cable guide in the monitor arm for the «Clean Desk» look.
If you're the kind of person who likes to adjust and optimise their setup from time to time, you'll be pleased to know that the monitor mounts come with interchangeable VESA brackets.
Personally, I particularly like the cable management solution. Power cables or even the cable to the computer are discreetly tidied away inside the monitor arm. This doesn't look as well organised as it could be in the Header image at the top. I've heard that the colleagues at the shoot didn't have that much time to do it properly.

Mats in all sizes
A monitor mount frees up space on your desk. And what better use for it than a good mouse mat? You might like one of the new black Digitec mouse mats. They are three millimetres thick and made of high-density polyester. The edge is sewn so that nothing frays.

The colleagues from the private label team have gone all out with the sizes. The 40 x 90 centimetre XXL mat offers space for a keyboard and mouse. I pack the S version measuring 25 by 21 centimetres in my rucksack for when I'm on the move. You can find all sizes in between here:
By the way, there is unfortunately no standard for mouse mat sizes. Our «L» may therefore have different dimensions compared to that of another manufacturer. I recommend using the filters in the shop to find a mouse mat that meets your needs in terms of length and width - in case you can't find the right one among the Digitec mats.
