Microsoft Teams resurrects Clippy and the XP background
Microsoft has released some nostalgic backgrounds for video conferencing in Teams and on Skype.
Nostalgists may rejoice: Clippy and the Bliss wallpaper from the good old Windows XP times are back! You can now appear in front of these well-known background images in your Teams and Skype video conferences.
After a year of remote and hybrid working, Microsoft wants to sweeten up our drab workdays with a little trip down memory lane.
«We asked our designers to give a few memorable Microsoft moments their debut as Microsoft Teams backgrounds,» the company writes on its website.
It’s not only Clippy and the XP wallpaper; Solitaire and Microsoft Paint are now also available as backgrounds. You can download all the backgrounds here.
