Testing «Horizon Forbidden West»: spectacular highs, not-so-spectacular lows
by Philipp Rüegg
«Horizon Forbidden West» is one of the most hotly anticipated sequels ever. Luca and I will be drawing our bows and showing those Robo-Dinos how we handle old rust buckets. It all kicks off at 12:00.
Aloy, the fiery-haired warrior, and terrifying dinosaur machines made «Horizon Zero Dawn» a surprise hit in 2017. Now its successor is just around the corner. The robot dinos have grown even bigger, the world even more impressive and the threat – well, I already talked about that in my review.
However, we don’t have time for nagging. Time to ride, hunt, climb and, of course, diligently fight for our lives. Join Luca and me as we safari through the post-post apocalypse of «Horizon Forbidden West».
«Horizon Forbidden West» will be available for PS4 and PS5 on February 18.
Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
