"HyperX Cloud Alpha 2 Wireless" is available now

If you value a stable connection, clear sound and high wearing comfort, the "Cloud Alpha 2 Wireless" is a headset that is designed with precisely these points in mind.
The «Cloud Alpha 2 Wireless» from HyperX is a gaming headset that, according to the manufacturer, is equally suitable for long gaming sessions and hour-long calls. You are not restricted by cables and at the same time don't have to worry about short battery life. It runs for up to 250 hours in 2.4 GHz mode and 125 hours when using Bluetooth 5.2 at the same time. This means it lasts significantly longer than many other wireless models.

Sound and control
The 53 mm multi-layer double-chamber drivers work inside. They reduce distortion and ensure clear highs and deep bass. This makes it easier to locate important sounds in the game. The supplied RGB base station takes care of the controls: it allows audio customisation, programmable buttons and macros and is designed to simplify switching between devices. You can also use the 2.4 GHz connection and Bluetooth in parallel, for example for gaming on your PC and simultaneous calls or music via your smartphone.
Comfort and workmanship
The headset weighs 345 grammes. Microfibre ear pads and a headband with memory foam provide support and should remain comfortable for hours. The steel frame and aluminium forks increase stability and make the headset resistant to typical stresses such as frequent picking up and putting down or falling off a desk.
Communication
The detachable 10 mm boom microphone is equipped with a mains filter and has an LED mute indicator. It works in both 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth mode. This ensures clear transmission for voice chats or calls.
The «HyperX Cloud Alpha 2 Wireless» is compatible with PC, PS5, PS4, Switch, Mac and mobile devices. It can only be used with the Xbox via the 3.5 mm connection.

The editorial team says: As a user of the previous model, I received the «Cloud Alpha 2 Wireless» from the manufacturer and tried it out for several days. During this time, I didn't even have to recharge it after setting it up. The sound is well-balanced, especially voices and fine details in games come through clearly. The wearing comfort is very pleasant. My ears are often very sensitive.
I was less impressed by the base station supplied. Although it is intended as a control centre, I didn't find any practical use for it in everyday life.

My interests are varied, I just like to enjoy life. Always on the lookout for news about darts, gaming, films and series.
