"Final Fantasy," "Gundam," "Turtles" and more of the Sony State of Play.
Focusing on Japanese studios, Sony unveiled new trailers and games for the PS4 and PS5 on Thursday night.
"Final Fantasy 16" or "Street Fighter 6" were not shown. So much for now. Nevertheless, there was a lot worth seeing among the twelve trailers shown during the Sony State of Play event. As announced, Sony focused on Japanese publishers and studios during the presentation.
"Exoprimal
"Exoprimal" kicked things off. In the new co-op game from Capcom, you fight with friends in battle suits against hordes of dinos.
Coming in 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC.
"Ghostwire Tokyo"
A fresh trailer was released for the mysterious open-world ghost action game.
Coming March 25, 2022 for PS5 and PC.
"Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins."
There was also a bit of "Final Fantasy" on display. Developed by Square Enix, "Stranger of Paradise" is a colorful fantasy action game.
Coming March 18, 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC.
"Forspoken"
Postponed, but not forgotten. "Forspoken" may not be released until the fall, but a new trailer should keep the anticipation alive.

"Gundam Evolution."
The cult anime is getting a new multiplayer game. In the "Overwatch"-style free-to-play hero shooter, teams of six players each battle for dominance over the battlefield.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Cowabunga Collection."
A feast for retro fans is the Turtles Collection. Included are 13 games of the ninja turtles from the Gameboy, SNES and arcade machines.

"GigaBash"
A whimsical multiplayer romp featuring giant Kaijū monsters is behind "GigaBash".

"JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle R."
Another brawling game comes in the form of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure." This is a remake of a PS3 game.

"Trek To Yomi."
The stylish black-and-white samurai game is heating up the mood for its upcoming release with a new trailer.

"Returnal Ascension"
The PS5-exclusive sci-fi action game is getting a new co-op campaign and survival mode. The Ascension update will be free for all owners of the game.

"The Diofield Chronicle"
Behind "The Diofield Chronicle" is a brand new tactical role-playing game.

"Valkyrie Elysium."
The last trailer was also a fantasy role-playing game, but a much more action-heavy one.
