digitec Podcast Episode 91: iPhone as subscription, "Fantastic Beasts 3", "Lego Star Wars - The Skywalker Saga
"Monkey Island" will be continued. The iPhone may soon be available as a subscription. "Fantastic Beasts 3" returns to success and "Lego Star Wars - The Skywalker Saga" breaks new ground.
The last part of the cult adventure series, "Tales of Monkey Island", was released 13 years ago. Now Ron Gilbert, one of the inventors, has announced a new part. Less surprising was the release of the Unreal Engine 5, which should keep us busy for the next few years. There is good and bad news regarding Twitter. On the one hand, the long-awaited editing function is coming, and on the other hand, the controversial Tesla boss Elon Musk is joining the company. Of enormous consequence could be the iPhone subscription, which Apple is rumored to be planning.
This week we saw "Fantastic Beasts 3," which managed to inspire again after the complete failure of its predecessor. "Death on the Nile" delivers an entertaining murder mystery with a kitschy, beautiful setting.
Simple but entertaining fare is offered by "Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga", which doesn't challenge us much, though. Quite different is "Tunic", where we still don't know what half of the items in the inventory are actually good for.

Only a lack of time and money prevents me from trying out every game there is and decorating my shelf with rare retro consoles.
