digitec podcast episode 13: PS5 launch, RTX 3080 benchmarks, Apple party

To the delight of everyone present, Sony has finally announced the prices and launch date of the PS5. The benchmarks of the RTX 3080, on the other hand, divided the podcasters. And the Apple event also provides plenty to talk about in the 13th episode of the digitec podcast.
Sony has really taken its time. Just two months before launch, we finally know the exact release date and prices of the Playstation 5. In the livestream on Wednesday evening, we also saw a few new, pretty trailers for Spiderman: Miles Morales, Final Fantasy XVI and more. Another highlight this week was the first benchmarks of Nvidia's new graphics card series. There was also news from Apple, namely watches and iPads. They are now edgier, faster and more colourful. And that's by no means all the topics in this episode.

As a child, I wasn't allowed to have any consoles. It was only with the arrival of the family's 486 PC that the magical world of gaming opened up to me. Today, I'm overcompensating accordingly. Only a lack of time and money prevents me from trying out every game there is and decorating my shelf with rare retro consoles.
