Digitec Podcast Episode 106: Google Glass is back, the shitstorm too?

Google ventures the first field test with the second version of smart glasses. We discuss the potential and the dangers. We also enjoy the cat adventure "Stray" and the e-sports mockumentary "Players".
Even the first version of Google Glass in 2012 was a marvel of technology. But outsiders saw it above all as an invasion of their privacy. People did not like the idea that they could be secretly filmed or photographed. Nevertheless, Google is now venturing another field test with a new model. We remain sceptical, but cannot deny a certain curiosity.
I enjoyed watching the e-sports mockumentary "Players". Based on the eccentric pro-player "Cheesecake", you get an insight into the turbulent (fictional) lives of superstars. The series perfectly captures the game scene around "League of Legends" with all its jargon.
More quiet, but no less gripping, is the cat adventure game "Stray". Simon and I are blown away by the fluffy ball of fur that wanders through a futuristic robot world. But Simon still has something to complain about.

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
