The final round of the digitec playground cup will take place this Saturday. Read on to find out where to watch the matches, what the schedule looks like and which teams made it to the final.
We asked our Community which video game we should play at the digitec playground cup. Over 3,000 digitec users took part in our vote and «Counter-Strike: GO» came out on top. The two qualifying tournaments were fully booked. 128 teams with over 600 players in total signed up for the event. This Saturday, 19 October, the seven finalists and the digitec team will battle for the trophy of the first playground cup.

Our commentators
A team of two will accompany the cup from start to finish: Galaxus gourmet and digitec play swearer number 1 Simon Balissat will take care of the entertaining rather than competent comments. He’s accompanied by Remo «rMo» Blaser, who played for the «CS:GO» team SilentGaming for many years. Together, they’ll analyse moves and tell everyone why it's not helpful to throw a blinding grenade at your own team's feet.
I’m looking forward to an exciting tournament and wish all participants and, of course, the digitec team lots of fun.

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
