These five digitec boys are fighting for victory in the Playground Cup
In the final on Saturday 19 October, they will face seven other teams. On top of that, they will play a show match against the last team that narrowly failed to make it to the final.
For the photo, not all digitec players received our specially made jerseys in time. But everyone should be in uniform at the start on Saturday. So. Enough of the story. Here are our "Counter-Strike GO" players
.
Luis is the team captain and works at the Logistics Control Centre in Wohlen. "CS:GO" has long been one of Luis' favourite shooters. He even built up his own team and played with the same players for five years.
Mike also played Counter-Strike actively in teams for a long time. You can see that in his playing hours. He works as a supervisor in the Bern shop.
The digitec team also bridges the Röstigraben Kevin works in customer service in Geneva and is therefore used to the support role.
Luan is the second French-speaking Swiss member of the team and works in the Lausanne digitec shop. He may have put the fewest hours of all into "CS:GO", but he also has a flair for FPS games. He will keep a low profile and take on the support role.
Patrick not only provides security as a security officer in Wohlen, but also with his favourite weapon P90 in "Counter-Strike".
Tim answers customer enquiries from Zurich. He has been playing CS for almost 20 years and has plenty of experience.

As a child, I wasn't allowed to have any consoles. It was only with the arrival of the family's 486 PC that the magical world of gaming opened up to me. Today, I'm overcompensating accordingly. Only a lack of time and money prevents me from trying out every game there is and decorating my shelf with rare retro consoles.

. If digitec is organising its own e-sports tournament, we didn't want to leave our own employees out in the cold. After all, the company is full of passionate gamers. So we put out an internal call for applications from interested gamers. We selected six from all the applicants: Five active plus the backup.
