A Tech Affair episode 161: Disney Plus price premium, "Barbie" cinema success, "Baldur's Gate 3"

Disney Plus becomes massively more expensive. "Barbie" beats "Oppenheimer". Gizmodo sues Apple and "Baldur's Gate 3" enchants gamers. All this and more in episode 161.
Disney is really asking for money. The Disney Plus streaming service will cost five francs in November. Restrictions on account sharing are also planned. Will subscribers go along with this? "Barbie" is a huge success at the cinema box office. The nuclear bomb drama "Oppenheimer" has to admit defeat to the pink doll adventure. Gizmodo is not about to give up. Its editor-in-chief sues Apple for allegedly stealing the idea for the "Tetris" film. Red Dead Redemption" fans are also angry. Although the game is being released on two new consoles, this is no reason to rejoice.
We have mixed feelings about the game film "Gran Turismo". It's not actually a game film, but that's not the reason for our conflicting opinions.
An unreserved recommendation for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem". Even with German voiceover, this animated film is worth seeing.
This also applies to "Baldur's Gate 3". The complex fantasy role-playing game offers an incredible amount of freedom - of which sex with a bear-shaped druid is one of the more harmless ones.

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
