Recommended, you get the same sound quality as from a high end smartphone at a fraction of the cost of a good sound card.
Very well defined, neutral sound. Works right out of the box, in my case no configuration was necessary.
In my case, I used it to avoid the 50/60 HZ humming that my computer sound card was generating in my amplifier. It worked perfectly as long as it was powered separately (not from the computer USB).
Using it with a 5V 2A power source instead of its 5V 1A can improve sound quality if used at full volume.
