If you are looking for a cheap microphone stand that will not move once you place it then this is good ,however, if you want a mic stand that you can position the microphone repeatedly look elsewhere
Works very well if you don't intended to move the microphone at all after placing it, Due to what seems to be a design flaw where the metal connects to the it's clamp any movement of the mic will result in the bending of the metal instead, and over about a week of use the metal was starting to show signs of fatigue.
