A great buy - especially if it's discounted!
I got the TV as an upgrade for my 13 year old LG (which still works) at a great price, so I consider it very good value for money when compared with other mid range models. The 55" which suits me perfectly as the 49" doesn't seem much bigger than my old 42". Has all the connections needed (4 x HDMI, 3 x USB + lots more), everything expected from a mid-range smart TV. Picture, sound very good (if you set it up properly). Looks good too. As with most slim-line TVs these days the speaker space has been compromised, so even the in-built Dolby Atmos speakers needed a boost with a soundbar. But I would certainly recommend/buy again.

- The feet are a bit flimsy, so take care fixing them to the TV.
- The Dolby Atmos doesn't seem much better than Dolby 5.1, so a soundbar may be necessary
