Overall top controller keyboard which I use daily for the past 6 months with MOTU Digital Performer 10 running on a Mac and mostly UVI sound banks. Having switched from the older MPK 49 there have been many improvements, particularly the percussion pad dynamics. Getting the dynamic range key velocity just right is not easy for every sound despite adjustability in both the MPK261 and the virtual instrument, particularly when you have been used to playing a fully weighted keyboard. Aftertouch is included but hard to trigger reliably, thus best assigned to a separate controller (of which there are plenty).
In summary the MPK261 delivers exactly what I expected at a very reasonable price and I would buy again.
