Test Report

The cloud in the living room

Not everyone wants to store sensitive documents and private photos in the cloud storage of any provider. Those who still want to bundle their data in one place and access it from anywhere can also do so with a personal cloud. Private data is then stored on hard drives at home and not on a server on the internet. We tested how secure personal clouds are, whether they are easy to use and how much electricity they consume on ten network storage devices.
