2 Hand blenders in the test

- It's a true all-rounder that can make baking and cooking easier: the hand blender. No matter how undemanding or full the dish of choice is - if it contains vegetables, herbs etc., all these foods have to be prepared, i.e. chopped, blended or pureed, before they can enrich the dish with their flavour. These employees can carry out these tasks much more quickly, easily and safely with a hand blender than by hand. But even if you want to make salsas, sauces, soups and more, for example, the hand blender makes all the preparatory work easier. Many models also come with a wide range of accessories that allow you to expand the described range considerably: A chopper can be used to process completely different foods such as peanuts, hazelnuts or walnuts. Such ice cream can also be crushed in no time at all: This is particularly useful in summer, as it allows you to serve various drinks such as caipirinhas, daiquiris or juleps in no time at all. Whisks are now also an essential element of many models and allow the blender to be used in even more different ways. For example, if you want to make a sweet and sour wild berry puree, you can puree the wild berries beforehand, chop individual mint leaves to spread over the cream at the end and finally add a few millilitres of cream to transform it into a stable, full-bodied mass. The culinary possibilities are almost endless.
