E-scooters that can be folded for transport are practical for the last few kilometres from the train to the office. Stiftung Warentest tested 7 models with road approval. Do they ride well, are they safe and unbreakable? Several reveal dangerous defects, only one electric scooter scores well. The cheapest e-scooter in the test is still satisfactory, the rest are poor.
