COMPARISON TEST - fridge-freezers

According to the statistics, the fridge-freezer combination is the Germans' favourite type of freezer, and for perfectly plausible reasons: It is less expensive than two individual systems would be, more economical in terms of electricity consumption and not nearly as conquering in terms of space. In the past weeks, we had nine different models in our test lab; each of them stands out for its moderate power consumption (classes: A++ and A+++). In this test, however, you will not only read a few words about the power consumption and the sound pressure level; no, you will mainly read how the individual models can be handled with their functions and how effective the various cooling systems really are.
