Our price tip Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 for 26 euros is only slightly weaker than the test winner when it comes to cleaning PCs that are already infected. The Symantec software Norton Internet Security 2012 provides the best information about detected malware. The additional functions of the security packages were not evaluated. However, the network modules of the programmes from Bitfender and Symantec deserve a positive mention: they display all PCs in their own network. If the same protection software is installed on the networked PCs, the user can manage them centrally from one computer.
